February, 4: Signing of the “Memorandum on mutual understanding” between KSU and IBM, for the period of 2008-2009

Memorandum prolongs the previous agreement on cooperation in the field of mastering of IBM software by KSU students and lecturers within the framework of “IBM Academic Initiative” programme (http://www.ibm.com/ru/software/info/students/). The parties have formalized their intention consider the possibility of the establishment of the IBM Competence Academic Centre with a view to assist KSU in mastering of modern IBM technologies within the framework of the teaching process, as well as in implementation of non-commercial research projects. The given Memorandum is especially actual in the context of IBM’s plans for the expansion of its activity in the Republic of Tatarstan.
