I was born and grew up in Kazan. Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, is a city of over one million people and the largest port on Volga river, referred to as "the port of five seas". After graduating from the School #7 (Silver Medal) in 1991 I studied at Kazan State University for five years and obtained a diploma with honour of higher education. Since 1999 I am a teaching assistant of geometry at Kazan State University.

I married in 2000. My wife Svetlana has been a high school teacher (law) in Kazan.

My wife and I have wonderful son, Daniel born in 2001.
