Foreign participants must have a valid passport and must obtain an entry visa before coming to the Russian Federation.

The Organizing Committee will apply for single-entry visas valid for 30 days from 16 August to 14 September 2007 just after participant’s pre-registration at the conference site and receiving a copy of participant's passport (please download the personal data form here (28Kb). Approximately 1.5 month after applying we receive an official invitation, which will be sent to a foreign participant via express mail. The official invitation allows you to apply for and receive the visa (having paid the consulate fee) at the Russian Embassy/Consulate. That is why, please, indicate in an e-mail message the most convenient town (the nearest town) for you where Russian Embassy or Consulate is located. After you have indicated the city (e.g., London) where you will collect your visa from a Russian Consulate, it cannot be transferred to a different location (e.g., Bristol or Edinburgh). If your pre-conference travel plans suddenly change, a new visa application will have to be made.

The copy of the passport inside with the photograph can be sent as a graphical file (preferably in JPEG or PDF format) on the symposium e-mail eastmag@gmail.ru, eastmag@ksu.ru. We recall that the procedure for getting the official invitation letter is rather lengthy (about 1.5 month after getting the passport copy), so the copy should be sent as soon as possible!
